Because it’s been so cold outside lately, it’s time to get toasty! We’re going to share some quick and simple ideas for getting toasty with crostini bread for Foodie Friday! On this plate, we have 4 different ways you can dress crostini for the new year!

Pesto, Mozzarella, Prosciutto & Arugula

Instructions: Layer crostini using pesto, fresh mozzarella, a slice of prosciutto and arugula that has been dressed with a little olive oil.

Wedge Salad Crostini made with crisp iceberg lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese and bacon

Instructions: Start by layering the crostini with a smear of blue cheese dressing. Layer with chopped iceberg lettuce, quartered cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion and then top with crumbled blue cheese and chopped crisp bacon.

Blue Cheese Dip with Fresh Pears and Pecan Pieces

Instructions: Start by layering the crostini with blue cheese pecan dip (I found at Trader Joe’s) and then top with sliced fresh pears and top with pecan pieces.

Goat Cheese Brie with Honey, Pecans and Apricots

Instructions: Start by layering the crostini with Brie. (I used a goat cheese Brie here and warmed in the microwave for a few seconds). Once cheese is melted, drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle with pecans and chopped apricots.
