Testimonials from past interns:
“Working with and for Amber Pankonin at Stirlist was honestly a game-changer in my career (and taught me a lot of non-career, life skills). I learned how to manage multiple projects at one time and learn the art of prioritizing as I helped her create, organize and execute large-scale events. I also had to stretch my creativity and learn how to efficiently stay in-tune with the latest topics in nutrition as I assisted in social media posts and content creation. Amber harnesses her interns’ strengths and passions and teaches how to best utilize both for success” – Kristen Reiman RD, LMNT
“Interning for Stirlist during my undergrad was the perfect taste of what it would be like to be a communications dietitian. Amber is passionate about food and nutrition science, she’s hilarious, and of course, incredibly intelligent. If we weren’t writing or creating a new recipe, we were eating together and laughing about an old Office or Parks and Rec episode. Amber is so full of life and it is shown vibrantly in her business, on her blog, and podcast. She’s always open to humbly and respectfully hear someone’s opinion, however, she won’t hesitate to ask more questions and inform the person what science has to say on the matter. Helping at Stirlist not only made me become a better cook and writer (LOVE those yummy recipes), but also a better, more informed dietitian. There will always be hype on this or that new diet. Now that I am a Registered Dietitian, it is my job to understand what research has been done. I look back at that special time working with Amber and I’m very grateful for her and her dedication to teaching.” Elizabeth Marshall, RD
