Chicken Fajita Burgers
Ingredients
- 1.5 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into 4 oz portions)
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow red pepper
- 1 orange red pepper
- 1 sweet onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 4 TB olive oil (infused with lime if you can find it, otherwise just use the juice from a lime)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 6 Sandwich Thin Buns- Whole Wheat, 100 calorie
Instructions
- -4 hours before you grill, place chicken in ziplock bag with 2 TB lime infused garlic olive oil, 1 tsp of pepper, and 1 tsp of garlic powder. Make sure chicken is coated with mixture and place back in refrigerator until time to grill.
- For fajita mixture: slice peppers and onion in strips and combine with salt, 2 TB lime infused garlic oil, 1 tsp of pepper, and 1 tsp of garlic and mix together. Make sure the peppers are coated with the oil and seasoning.
- Place both chicken and peppers on grill and cook until done.
- Serve with salsa, avocado slices, or light sour cream if desired.
