Hawaiian BBQ Lavosh with Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 Lavosh cracker crust (comes in packs of 3, available in the deli section)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or provolone mix
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup ham, diced into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits or freshly cut pineapple
  • 1/4 red onion, finely sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Start by covering the lavosh bread with a layer of BBQ sauce.
  3. Sprinkle cheese over the top and then layer with red peppers, ham, pineapple and red onion.
  4. Pro tip: My husband likes it when the onions are cooked and caramelized before placing on the lavosh. I admit, I think it’s pretty good too!!
  5. Bake on a pizza baking sheet for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is beginning to brown.
