Lemon Garlic Butter Pork
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs pork loin or pork chops, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 TB flour
- 1 TB cajun seasoning
- 1 TB canola or vegetable oil
- 2 TB butter
- 2 TB lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic or 1 tsp garlic, finely minced
- 2 TB parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Combine flour and cajun seasoning and mix well. Coat pork with flour mixture in a small bowl and set aside.
- Add oil to a saute pan and warm over medium heat.
- Once oil is glossy and the pan is hot, add pork and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until the color is golden brown.
- Add butter and allow to melt while continuing to stir. Add lemon juice and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Add garlic and good for an additional minute.
- When meat is fully cooked, top with chopped parsley and serve immediately over rice or vegetables.
