Wine may be purchased at Single Barrel when you pick up your meal kit for an additional fee.

FAQ
How does this work? We will provide all the ingredients (prepackaged and measured), cooking instructions and a private link to our live stream where you can view the demonstration and follow along.
The link to the live demo will be emailed to attendees before the event.
What cooking appliances and utensils will I need? Oven/range, 10” (or bigger) sauté pan or skillet, tongs, large spoon, small bowl for excess grease, baking tray for steaks, plates, and utensils.
Will I have to make everything from scratch? No, heat and and serve instructions will be provided for the Duchesse Potatoes and Glazed carrots. All you will need to do is heat in the oven.
What will I cook? You will be provided with raw steaks and ingredients needed to make a pan sauce. Chef Brandon will guide you through how to properly cook and prepare a steak with a pan sauce that pairs with the Duchesse potatoes and glazed carrots.
How will I get my ingredients? Ingredients can be picked up from Single Barrel Friday, February 12th from 4pm – 8pm or Saturday, February 13th from 11am – 4pm. Delivery is available for an additional $20 fee.
Will I be able to ask questions during the demonstration? You will be able to ask Brandon and Amber questions using the chat function in the live stream.
What if I can’t attend the live demonstration? We will provide you with a link to the recording after the event so that you can go back and watch in case you missed it the first time.
What if I would like more than 2 servings? If there are others in your home you would like to feed, select the number of servings in the drop down menu at check out.

Brandon Harpster, CEC is a Chef-Instructor for the Great Plains Culinary Institute at Southeast Community College and Executive Chef for all of the Single Barrel restaurant concepts. As a Chef and self-taught butcher who has spent his entire career in the hospitality industry, Brandon is credentialed through the American Culinary Federation as a Certified Executive Chef. Brandon was awarded Chef of the Year in 2013 by the Nebraska Restaurant Association, and has been included in Best Chefs America from 2013 to 2017.
Amber Pankonin, RD LMNT is an award-winning nutrition educator, personal chef and podcaster. As a culinary Dietitian, Amber shares her love for food and nutrition at Stirlist.com and is the host of Healthy Under Pressure, a podcast that highlights the stories and struggles of busy people learning to live healthy under pressure. Most recently, Amber has joined the staff at Great Plains Culinary Institute at Southeast Community College and is also a local radio and television personality in Lincoln, Nebraska.
